Pope Valley Vineyards
Nestled in the hills of the Napa Valley, our CE2V Estate vineyards are located at the southern opening to Pope Valley and rests on 160 magnificent acres. CE2V contains 82 acres of vineyards that are designated to growing specialized and unusual varietal clones of the highest caliber. Our CE2V vineyards are exclusively dedicated to growing unique and historical clonal selections that are very rare or unseen in this country, some of whose origins are a mystery and/or cannot be divulged.
CE2V Estate’s diverse terrains of mountain, hillside, knolls and flat land areas, along with multiple micro climates and 5 different soil types makes it an ideal location to grow an array of these highly specialized varietals that include: our “Secret Clone” Cabernet Sauvignon, our “Chablis” and “Sculptor” Clones of Chardonnay, 2 distinct clones of Cabernet Franc, and specialized clones of Sangiovese, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
The Pope Valley climate is very similar to the classic climate of the Mediterranean, boasting a growing season that has slightly hotter daytime temperatures and cooler nights than those on the Napa Valley floor.
