CE2V Winery
CE2V Estate Winery is Cosentino Winery's second Napa Valley based luxury winery. CE2V is nestled in the hills of the Napa Valley, located in Pope Valley, and sits on 160 magnificent acres. Eighty two of the Estate’s acres are designated to our beautifully maintained vineyards. The Pope Valley climate is very similar to the classic climate of the Mediterranean, boasting a growing season that has slightly hotter daytime temperatures and cooler nights than those on the Napa Valley floor.
CE2V Estate’s diverse terrains of mountain, hillside, knolls and flat land areas, along with multiple micro climates and 5 different soil types makes it an ideal location to grow an array of the highest quality grapes. The varietals grown on the CE2V Estate include our “Secret Clone” Cabernet Sauvignon, a Chablis clone Chardonnay, 2 distinct clones of Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese and Semillon.
CE2V is a true boutique winery, optimizing the Cosentino philosophy of small batch, hand crafted wines. CE2V produces a limited amount of three Estate wines from its new “state of the art” facility; these wines are our “‘Secret Clone’ Estate Cabernet Sauvignon,” our “Estate Chardonnay” and also our “Estate Meritage,” which was CE2V’s first vintage release in 1999.
CE2V’s ultra-premium wines represent some of the finest in the Napa Valley, all of which are under the direction and guidance of Winemaster, Mitch Cosentino.
Since CE2V’s launch, one of the most frequently asked questions that we are asked is: “What is the meaning behind the name CE2V?"
- Some believe that CE2V means: “Cosentino Estate 2nd Venture”
- Others will tell you that CE2V means: “Cosentino Edie’s 2nd Vineyard,” named after proprietor Edie Soldinger.
- Still, some folks maintain that CE2V is an Acronym for “Come Everybody 2 our Vinyards!!”
Perhaps the correct answer is that CE2V means something fun for everybody.
You can experience CE2V Estate wines in our tasting rooms located in Yountville (Cosentino Winery) and in Lockeford (Crystal Valley Cellars).
